Preparation

    Put the frozen ripe bananas, natural nut butter, almond milk, vegan chocolate, medjool date, and vanilla in a blender. Or add ice cubes

    Wait for the bananas to defrost slightly (approximately 3 minutes).

    Blend while mashing down the ingredients.

    Stop and stir, then repeat blending and mashing down for about 1 minute until you see a smoothie swirl.

    Add vegan chocolate near the end and swirl in for a few seconds.

    Top with your preferred toppings - here we had organic coconut shreds, fresh banana slices, crushed macadamia nuts, an additional dollop of nut butter, and granola!
